Did you know that 771 million people globally lack access to clean drinking water?

Safe, clean drinking water is something we take for granted, but many around the world have to walk miles just to fill a bucket with drinkable water. You can help by participating in Walk4Water on June 14!

Walk4Water is a program of Healing Hands International and aims to support their clean water ministry through raising funds and awareness about the clean water crisis in our world. The walk is four miles long, representing the average distance walked daily by women and children to reach a water source. HHI has drilled more than 1,800 wells to date, providing clean water to remote communities.

On the day of the event, check-in is at 9:30 AM and the walk begins at 10:00 AM.

One loop on the road around the church building is approximately ½ mile, so 8 times around is 4 miles - the average distance many people in the world have to walk to get water.

You can walk individually or form a walking group; make it a competition; get your employer to sponsor you!

Once you register, you will receive an email about setting up your personal fundraising page, allowing you to spread the word to your friends and family about the walk.
