It can be tough to be a man in today's world.  Dealing with the pressures of life at home, at work, at school or in our communities, our faith life can suffer.

Imagine a place where men can come together to share the highs and lows of life, walk alongside each other and disciple each other to be stronger in their faith.  A place where they can become a better husband, father, son, co-worker, friend and Christian.

There is a place.  Man Church is a ministry of the Homewood Church of Christ designed to uplift, equip and support men, ages 6th grade and up, on their faith journey.  We believe there is much we can learn from each other and from the Word, and we need each other to grow!

Join us on this journey.  See below for upcoming events, or email Connections Minister Chris Richardson for more information.

Jason Williams

A native of the Washington D.C. metro area or "DMV" as he calls it, Jason lived a sinful life in pursuit of power, pleasure, and possessions. He was arrested 6 times and faced 60 years in prison. After searching for identity & meaning in all the vain pursuits one could chase, he finally realized his separation from God was the reason his life had no substance or purpose. He repented of his sin and wickedness and placed his trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. God showed him immediately that salvation was not simply a gift of eternal life, it was also a call to be an ambassador for the King to promote His kingdom.

Jason is a sought-after public speaker for many arenas including churches, conferences, campus ministries, youth groups and non-profit agencies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Birmingham Southern College and a Master of Divinity from Birmingham Theological Seminary. He has over 15 years of ministry experience and connects with people from all walks of life. He is married to Dr. Jessica H. Williams and has 3 children, Raekwon (25), Jada (23), Kendall (12).

Jason is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership. He is an elder and preaching pastor at Tapestry Church in Hoover. His hobbies include cycling, golfing and going to the beach.
