Toiletries Supply Drive For Inspiritus
Our friends at Inspiritus, a refugee and immigrant service agency, need our help in providing toiletries for families who are newcomers to our country. Throughout May, we will be collecting the following requested items:
- Men & women's deodorant
- Face wash
- Hand soap
- Razors
- Shaving cream
- Shampoo & conditioner (all hair textures)
- Children's toothpaste
- Baby wash/shampoo
- Feminine hygiene products
- Brush or comb
Drop off items in the foyer or in the church office during business hours.

Jonesboro Food Pantry: May 18
Help serve at our mobile food pantry at Jonesboro Elementary School on Saturday, May 18 at 10:30AM. Volunteers are always needed! Our Jonesboro Food Pantry is held on the third Saturday of each month.

Guest Speaker, John Mark Hicks: May 19
Join us on Sunday, May 19, as we welcome guest speaker, Dr. John Mark Hicks. Dr. Hicks will continue our study on the book of Titus during our worship service, followed by a discussion of his new book, Transforming Encounters—Baptism, Assembly and the Lord’s Supper, in a special church-wide Sunday school class.

HSM Summer Kick-Off: May 29
The Homewood Student Ministry will kick off their summer season with a luau on Sunday, May 29, from 5:30-7:30pm. Put on your best luau attire and join us for food and games in the courtyard. All students and their families are invited, and we encourage you to bring a friend!

Ladies Ministry Salad Bowl: May 30
Our Ladies Ministry Salad Bowl returns this year on Thursday, May 30, at 6PM in the Tri-Room. Bring a salad to share, (veggie, pasta, meat, fruit, etc.) and come enjoy a fun dinner together while connecting with other women at Homewood. All women ages 13 and older are invited, and we encourage you to bring a friend!

VBS: June 9-12
VBS will take place June 9-12 from 6-8pm, and this year's theme is SCUBA - Diving Into Friendship With God! VBS is open to all rising 4K - 6th grade children.

Onsite Food Pantry: June 19
Our next onsite food pantry will take place here at our building on Wednesday, June 19 at 9AM. Volunteers are always needed and should arrive to help at 9am. The onsite food pantry is held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Created for a Purpose: July 15-19
Register today for Created for a Purpose, a week-long creative arts program that teaches 3rd-8th grade girls that they are a unique masterpiece created by God. Each day is packed with hands-on activities and Biblical teaching emphasizing that God has made everyone with different talents and skills to be used for His glory and His purposes.
